About us
Alessandra Lacroix is an everyday clothing store for men and women who have stopped chasing trends and would rather own a few things that fit well and last. Coats, knitwear, shirts, trousers and footwear, in colours that work together, made to be worn on ordinary days rather than saved for special ones.
Why we started
Getting dressed should not take long. Most of us do not want a wardrobe full of options, we want a handful of pieces we reach for without thinking, that still look right after a year of wearing them. That is harder to find than it should be. Shops are full of clothing designed to be replaced.
We started Alessandra Lacroix to do the simpler thing: pick fewer pieces, choose them for fit and fabric, and keep the collection small enough that nothing in it is filler.
What we are trying to do
Our mission is to make the reliable part of your wardrobe easy to buy. Everything we stock is chosen against the same three questions: does it fit properly, is the fabric worth the money, and will it still look good after a season of real wear. If a piece does not clear all three, it does not go on the site.
Our vision is a store where you can buy with confidence rather than hope. That means honest descriptions, real measurements, clear sizing, and no marketing language dressed up as quality. If something runs small, we would rather tell you than have you return it.
Who we are for
We are for men and women who dress for their own life rather than for a season. People who would rather have one good coat than three cheap ones, and who care more about how something wears than what is on the label.
How we work
Our items are made in Asia and ship from our own warehouse there directly to you in the United States, which is how we keep prices reasonable without cutting corners on fabric. Shipping is free on every order, with no minimum, and you have 90 days from delivery to change your mind.
We are a small team and we answer our own emails. If you have a question about sizing, fabric or an order, write to us and you will get a real answer, usually within a day.
